It is much easier to flip a cover back than to try and remove it altogether from a hot tub and place it on the ground or against a wall.
When purchasing a hot tub cover lift, the individual should know the size of the hot tub and the type of cover that he has on the tub. Not all covers will work with a hot tub cover lift since they are made of one piece which makes it next to impossible for a lift to do its work. The hot tub cover must be divided into two sections and it must be made of a hard material rather than a soft material for the lift to be effective.
